This tour combines culture of the Castile region with the Rioja wine growing area. Casti le is situated in the northern central area of Spain on a high wild plateau. Here, time seems to have stood sti ll on the vast open plains criss crossed by loft y mountain ranges. Many of the citi es sti ll retain their walls as if to protect them from the wilderness outside. Casti le is very much the homeland of Spanish culture and history retaining some of western Europe’s most amazing and important cultural treasures.
