    Take a tour down the west bank of the Rhine between the scenic towns of Boppard and Bingen, also stopping at Rheinfels Castle at St Goar for a great view, Oberwesel with its 3 castles of Schonburg with 12 fortress towers, the beautiful fortified village of Bacharach and the fairytale Rheinstein Castle.
  • Koblenz and Moselle Valley to CochemFull Day
    Make a morning visit to Koblenz whose main sights include the old town and Ehrenbreitstein Citadel guarding the confluence point of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. Take a traditional lunch in town before travelling along the winding castle laden course of the Moselle to visit the awe-inspiring pinnacled fortress of Eltz castle. Finish the afternoon by following the Moselle to beautiful Cochem overshadowed by its idyllic hill top castle. Partake in a wine tasting in one of the many prestigious local cellars before returning to the hotel.
  • Rhine Cruise from Koblenz to St Goarshausen & East Bank tour to RudesheimFull Day
    Early morning departure to Koblenz for a memorable morning ferry cruise up the Rhine to St Goarshausen with its marvellous cuckoo clock and overlooked by Katz castle. Lunch before continuing this afternoon to the memorable panoramic point over the famous Loreley Rock and then continuing past pretty villages and castles to Rudesheim, leaving the rest of the day at leisure in this bustling town. Visit the famous Drosselgasse with its dance bars, try a wine tasting or take a chair lift ride up over the vines to the Niederwald monument. Return to hotel.
  • Trier and Bernkastel-KuesFull Day
    Head this morning to Trier, once the most important Roman settlement north of the Alps and Germany's oldest city. See the impressive Roman monuments, the Porta Nigra, the amphitheatre and basilica and taste the Moselle wines in a local cellar. After lunch, follow the winding Moselle river back to Bernkastel-Kues with its colourful half-timbered houses and impressive Landshut Castle. Head back to your hotel taking in the villages and vineyards along the riverside.
